Trump's First Congressional Speech

Last night Trump showed the charisma and stage presence of a veteran politician. In his first address before a joint session of congress, Trump struck a optimistic note with his bold vision of America's future. 

Trump highlighted his accomplishments in the first month in office including his job initiatives and the beginning  of the border wall project. He also mentioned his supreme out nominee Neil Gorsuch. He acknowledged the mess America is in but he balanced that with optimism

Trump also emphasized how his administration was placing the American people first. In my favorite line of the speech he said:

"My job is not to represent the world. My job is to represent the United States of America"

This simple statement has been foreign to America's leaders for decades, yet it sums up why Trump won the election.
